Shengli Jin studied and worked at Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST) from 1996-2010 and became an associate professor there in 2010. He earned his first doctoral degree at WUST in 2008, and then he spent a research period at Technische Universitaet Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany. Since 2009 he is with the Chair of Ceramics, Montanuniversitaet Leoben. In 2015 he earned his secondary doctoral degree at Montanuniversitaet Leoben. His research interests focus on simulation and characterization of the mechanical and thermo-mechanical behaviour of refractories, high temperature ceramics and refractories.
